Found this animation test I did a while back on my hard drive and realized that had I never posted it.

Lightning!

A quick little animation of a lightning strike..

Cannonball Bounce

This was a quick animation exercise to practice timing and spacing. I was given the key frames and asked to make timing charts for the sequence, then animate the scene to test my timing. My timing charts are included below for anyone who is interested. As you can see, the timing didn't always work out right on the first go.

Lighting Animation

I have been attending a tradition animation class on Saturdays. This past Saturday, November 19th, we had a guest lecturer, an FX Animator named Mauro Maressa. After his talk he encouraged all of us in the class to attempt animating a lightning strike. What you see here is the resulting pencil test of my attempt at animating a lightning strike.
